I don't have any idea...

But, apparently, I had 10 crash reports in my rdi 9.1.1. I delete all the dumps. Because I didn't know what caused them. It seemed to me that the Crash button somewhere along the line magically appeared...

If they help the RDI development team, I have NO PROBLEM forward/sending them. But, hate to be asked, "What I was doing", when I don't have a clue. It appeared to me that my crashes happen behind the scenes without me knowing about them. <perplexed look>

Although, I would appreciate some insight how to properly handle crash reports in the future, and what I can do help the development team! <Big Smile>

Go RDI!!!! <Joy Joy>

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDi 9.1.1 Crash Reporter - Report Button Disabled

Hi,

For whatever reasons RDi 9.1.1 crashed today. Now I want to send the crash report to IBM, but the "Report" button of the "Crash Reporter" utility is disabled and greyed out.

Are the ideas why it is disabled? The other three buttons are enabled once that I select the report. The licenses for RDi 9.1.1 and the RPG- and COBOL Tools are shown as "Permanent". Hence it should not be a license problem as mentioned in "Crash Reporter in 9.0" by Kurt Anderson.

Regards,

Thomas.
