You can use system naming conventions in quantum, there is a setting
in the connection URL property.

I must give credit to Doug Belcher for the post, I immediately changed
my setting when I saw this:

jdbc:as400://dilbert;translate binary=true;naming=system
the "naming=system" allows you to use '/' instead of '.'
