You can use the same trick with the tooling in RD Power. However because of APAR PM39632 you can't do it in the supplied Toolbox driver. You need to use "Other Driver" and setup the jar file, class, url as the Toolbox driver and then add the naming=system string

- In preferences, goto Data management / Connectivity / Driver definitions
- Select the As400 Toolbox for Java Default and click Edit.
- Make a note of the values in the JAR and Properties tabs
- Cancel
- Back in the driver list, click Add
- In vendor filter, select DB2 for i5/OS
- In the list, select Other Driver
- Enter a Driver name at the bottom
- Go to the Jar Tab
- click Add JAR/Zip button
- Navigate to the jt400.jar file that was used in the Toolbox Driver (and Ok)
- Click on the Properties Tab
- Enter the values as for the Toolbox driver
- Modify the URL to include naming=system (and I would suggest "date format=iso" as well).

With system naming, the SQL builder does not work, though (but that's true even in iNavigator in IBM i Access).
Have a nice day.
