I have another question related to the Quantum DB plug in. I recently
upgraded to the 3.0.1 version and cannot use the Export functionality
anymore. The message says "The chosen operation is not currently
available". It worked in the previous version. It worked great in the
previous version(3.0). Anybody seen this besides me?

If your files are defined with CCSID = 65535 they will be translated
anyway.  Normally CCSID = 65535 means binary data as opposed to text.

The better way to handle this problem is to correctly set the CCSID of the
files/fields.
