Have you tried CMPPFM? It's the same engine behind SEU option 54. There is
no mention in the help about a limitation on record length, although the
comparison lines will not show the end of very long record.

Is there a way to compare files (members) on the iSeries (other than source
file members)?  In looking thru the help text it seems to elude to being
able to do that, but I can not find a way of getting that option on my
pop-up menu (right click) unless the member is in a source file.
