One source is the system handbook - V5R3 version is at <http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redpieces/abstracts/ga195486.html>

Now, IBM Open Class is not available at V5R3, so you'll need to look at that Redpieces site and search for the earlier handbooks (put "iseries handbook" in the search text box and press enter). You probably don't need it at all, anyway.
