The IBM ITSO Rochester center does plan a residency to update last year's
redbook (see

Business", SA-I410-R01 Starts 01 Nov 2004, ends 10 Dec 2004 (6 weeks) and
requires 3 residents.)
According to the Web site, this residency still seems to be open for
nominations!

receive not only information about brand new released redbooks and drafts
or planned workshops, but also about residencies you may apply for, to
become a redbook author! The ITSO is always looking for experienced
authors.
