As far as I've been able to determine, Aaron, CVS is written in C (I
think!) with downloadable compiled versions available for various
platforms.  This  includes Win32, which I believe is different from the
CVSNT product, which is freely available as well but rather buggy from
what I hear.

There is another project, Subversion, which is a CVS competitor.  Again,
it is written in C with downloadable binaries.

Thus, you're only option for running natively on the iSeries as far as I
can tell is to either run a Linux or AIX partition, or else port the C
code.  My guess is that the AIX version wouldn't be impossible to port,
but I', definitely in no hurry to take on THAT little project.
