HELP!
I have brought my system up to version 5.1.0.2 of WDSc, and am on build id:
20040127_1200. I was working ok in Code designer with some stability, but
now nothing will work. I get a crash with the following error when trying
to load a display file dds source.
RegQueryValueEx:No error text is available.
Then I get that window that wants me to debug codedsu2.exe. This error
occurs if I open from PDM option thru a code server, or from the RSE.
This morning while trying to work with printer files, I could open them,
but when I tried to see the properties on any field, or record, It would
crash. I can't get it to open anything now. When I try to open a printer
file dds source I get the same error that the display DDS gives me.
I'm on Window XP PRO with all the service packs and security upgrades. My
machine is a ThinkPad with 1 gig of memory, and about 6 gig of disk available.
What can I do to get Code designer working again? I'm under the gun to get
some projects done quickly, and don't have time for this
instability. Designer is so much better than SDA or RLU when it works!
Any ideas?
