Buzz,

I have found that the more recent versions appear to run more efficiently. 

With version 4.0, I always used to get serious slowdowns running WDSC on my
256mb 600mhz laptop, 
Now I get quite acceptable performance, even with a WAS test server running

Hi all,

Got a new XP box and will eventually get around to putting 5.1 on it (not a
priority right now for development).  Checking IBM's suggested specs on
memory, is it worth even messing with it until I can bump the box from 512
MB to 1 GB?
