Bring up the properties for a field of the type that you want to change
the defaults for. Change it to be the way you want it to be, go to the
style page of the properties dialogue and redefine the creation defaults.
Or something like that.

Subject
[WDSCI-L] CODE Designer issue

Hi,

When using CODE Designer to edit a printer file, and I click on the
"create database reference field" button, the window that displays has
prompts preloaded as follows:

Lib: QGPL

File: QINVREC

Record: INVREC

Field: ORDER

Even after I select another lib, file, etc, the next time I use the
button again, the display reverts to the above entries.

Anyone know how to change the defaults, and also how to configure it so it
remembers the last entries I keyed?

thanks,

Tim Swartz
