I have not seen the problem of the LPEX preferences disappearing but I have
seen your other notes regarding your workspaces which were due to the LPEX
plugin versioning issue.   The issues might be related (in which case it
should not happen again).  If you want you can send me your .log file in
your .metadata directory of your workspace to see if there are any clues in
it.

Eric, what about the issue where the LPEX preferences disappear from the
Preferences dialog?  At least two of us out here have had this occur.
