The SSL reference in the announcement is a mistake, a not-too embarassing
mistake :-)

We had at one point hoped to do this, but we are dependent on JDK 1.4
support in Eclipse
to leverage the new java.nio stuff, and eclipse is not yet built on top of
1.4. Sorry, it is very
high on our list but didn't make it in the end. We'll have to see if we can
revise the announcement.
Would that be an unanouncement?

I noticed on IBM's Software Announcement 203-010 dated January 28, 2003
that
the "Tools for Developing Server Applications" listed RSE enhancements to
include: "SSL for more secure communications". I would like to know if
this
release supports a SSL connection with the Remote System Explorer as
indicated in the announcement letter. I so far cannot find a reference to
this in the help text or other documentation. If anyone knows how to
configure the ssl option I would love to know how!

Thanks
Rod
