Hi Chris,
quite possibly it's an install/uninstall issue. If you were upgrading from
wdt400 to wdsc, the install for the help server for wdsc might have failed
depending on what was left behind from an uninstall. Incidentally, wdsc
does still use the netquestion program, but it only uses the httpd part of
it. Also, most of the help (actually, all of the help except for F1 calls)
is also available in the eclipse based IDE help.

To try to troubleshoot this:
-Check for an httpd process in task manager. If task manager doesn't show a
httpd process, the help won't work.

-The help troubleshooting that others have mentioned at:
ftp://service.software.ibm.com/as400/products/ad/wdt400/helpsys_diag.html
has some info for manually starting the server (as long as it was
installed).

-If it can't be started manually or it can and help still doesn't work,
open a command prompt window, look for a directory like X:\imnnq* (could be
imnnq_2000 or imnnq_NT -- if you see more than one directory like this,
it's more evidence of an install/uninstall issue). cd to the immnq
directory and make a file list using the command "dir /s /b > list1.txt"
and then send the list to me. If there's more than one imnnq directory,
make a list for each one (e.g. dir /s /b > list2.txt)

-In each immnq directory, look for a file named httpd.cnf. Send it (or
them) to me as well and I'll take a look.

Hi all,

I posted this a couple of days ago, but got no response. So I'm pleading
again!!! ;-)

Help will not come up in code400. I know it has in the past, so I'm
clueless
as to what the problem could be. No one else is having a problem with it in
the department. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could check? I'm
wondering if somehow a setting in Websphere or Netscape got screwed up. Can
I try to reinstall something to clean it up? I WANT MY HELP!!! ha ha

Thanks
