I know you said that you don't want to use STRPCCMD because of the size of the parameter, but if you take out the ".exe" and ".dll" does that help? Alternatively can you make use of the "tinyurl" service? *http://tinyurl.com/6s5j8g* translates to "mailto://joe@xxxxxxxxxxxx"

Hi,

I am trying to use runrmtcmd to open up excel/work/outlook/etc on a pc using
the following;

RUNRMTCMD CMD('rundll32.exe url.dll,FileProtocolHandler
mailto:joe@xxxxxxxxxxxx')
RMTLOCNAME('10.11.18.1' *IP)
RMTUSER(USER)

RMTPWD(PASS)

When I do this, it doesn't produce the desired results. If I execute it from
the start/run of windows it works.
In addition, I don't want to use strpccmd since the length of the parm is
not long enough.

Does anyone have a "work around" for windows on this?

Thanks.
