A work around I have created is my free/opensource tool named RPGToDesktop
which can be found here: http://mowyourlawn.com/RPGToDesktop.html

It allows you to get past the size limitation which is nice. The part that
I am trying to "perfect" is the fact that it requires a small piece of Java
to be installed on each PC you wish to use it. In the future I plan on
automating the install/configuration through a couple clicks.

Hi,

I am trying to use runrmtcmd to open up excel/work/outlook/etc on a pc
using
the following;

RUNRMTCMD CMD('rundll32.exe url.dll,FileProtocolHandler
mailto:joe@xxxxxxxxxxxx')

RMTLOCNAME('10.11.18.1' *IP)

RMTUSER(USER)

RMTPWD(PASS)

When I do this, it doesn't produce the desired results. If I execute it
from
the start/run of windows it works.

In addition, I don't want to use strpccmd since the length of the parm is
not long enough.

Does anyone have a "work around" for windows on this?

Thanks.
