If this is something that will be used in more than one or two places, may I suggest that it might be cleaner to create a CL module that does the OVRPRTF instead? You could put it in a print utilities service program.

I don't know why, but we RPG programmers (myself included) somehow get used to throwing in QCMDEXCs all over the place instead of using the power of ILE to use each languages strengths where possible.
