I am looking to go to a intermediate level RPG(modern RPG) class which would teach me about concept of subfiles, .sqlrpgle programming, etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd consider looking for two classes. One on SQL and one on Subfiles. (SQL is pretty much the same whether embedded in RPG or not)

There's a e-Learning class on SQL starting soon on the iSeries Network. The idea of e-learning is that it's a class that you can take right from your desktop (it's broadcast live over the web) more info can be found here:

I don't know of any online offerings for subfiles. As many others have suggested, you could go to RPG World or COMMON. In fact, there's a good chance that the same speakers would offer the same presentations at both venues.
