Here are some resources that I've found useful:

Introductory RPG (may be a bit slow-paced if you already have programming 
experience).  Covers the basics well, as well as older syntaxes in case 
you need to do maintenance on old programs.  It does not cover free-form 
RPG or advanced language practices/concepts.

Craig Pelkie has written a great course on subprocedures and other 
important programming techniques from an ILE RPG perspective.
