Jon, I remember what you posted a few years ago about using ILE C as the MI 
base of a programming language on the 400. If someone does not like RPG or CL 
as it is the system does provide the C compiler, program associated spaces and 
the debugger view APIs - the building blocks of a programming language of their 
own design.
