Thanks everyone. I now have a copy (actually five copies ;-) so no need to
send more.

I don't know if Bill is on this list to answer the question, but does he
have a clause in the download stating this piece of work cannot be hosted on
a personal site? Unless he is bound by legal contract it is his
responsibility (IMHO) to allow it to be hosted on any number of sites. The
same would be true if I, for whatever reason, was unable to host my RPGMail
on http://mowyourlawn.com; I should hand it off to whomever because that is
just kinda how "freeware" and "open source" community works. As of right
now there are a bunch of us who have allowed wrkdbf into our shops and now
we have to go and tell management that we don't have access to it for
loading on our latest machine for no particularly good reason. Now all of a
sudden "open source" or "freeware" gets a REALLY bad image.

Bill, if you are listening, for the benefit of the community please grant
rights for people to host it on sites (with complete due credit to you).

To end on a positive note, I LOVE WRKDBF! :-)

Subject: WRKDBF for download

Do any of your RPG programmers have the wrkdbf download sitting on your HD
that I could obtain from you? I changed employers and lost a lot of my
downloads in the transition, which has left me without wrkdbf and of course
now I am dieing to get my hands on it! Per this thread it it is no longer
available from www.wrkdbf.com:

Can somebody help a guy out? Please contact me offline: aaronbartell at
