Thanks, I'll look into the conversion software. I figured I'd first get
the source to RPGIII and then convert to RPGIV. 
We're at security level 30. I'm sure the reason everyone has *ALLOBJ
authority is because it was a quick and simple solution. I would imagine
the only authority issues that should affect the user would be related
mostly to our ERP data or the in house programs. Maybe I'm wrong, but
both of those situations can be resolved without giving the user *ALLOBJ
authority. I agree I better make sure everything works without *ALLOBJ
before I cut them off. I don't want them to see the program
enhancement/break messages that would be associated.
Were subfiles not supported in RPGII? The only reason I ask is because I
have yet to see a single subfile in any of the programs I have looked
at. There are a lot of programs that look and act like they have a
subfile, but when I look at the code it's really just a bunch of fields
on the screen that are meant to act like a sufile. Just curious.
