It sounds to me as if you are trying to install the "old" version WDT/400 -
that was not designed for XP and requires a tweak or two to load it.  The
information is below if that is the version that you have - but you should
really get the latest version (WDSc V5) WDT/400 is two releases out-of-date.

Here's the WDT/400 tweaks:

1. Set/create the registry key.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IBM\WDT400\Transient]

"InstallSrcpath"="G:"

Replace "G:" with where the source you install from(your CD drive letter).

2. Run install\msisetup.exe (in CD1)

3. Run install\bin\v51setup.exe (in CD1)


P.S. The CODE list is a much better place to ask such questions - that's
where the IBM developers hang-out.
