Through DRDA/DDM I think, but you need to get the Oracle bridge product (I
forget the name, sorry!)

It used to be know as the Oracle Transparent Gateway. I'm not sure if
that's it's current moniker.

>Is it possible to access Oracle database through RPG on AS400.

I also want to access Oracle from RPG. In this day and age it is
completely
unreasonable to expect that every scrap of information processing will
occur
on iSeries. Email happens on MS, web on Linux and yes, Virginia, there are
other database vendors besides IBM. If your company happens to buy/acquire
an Oracle based time entry package, wouldn't it be nice to be able to
produce the subfile/report, etc. in RPG?

Instead of having the Oracle guys access our database to merge on their
side?
