I have unfortunately been involved in some of these type of conversions.  I
have found that unless you have someone that is strong in RPGII and strong
in RPGIV, it is better to rewrite the programs.  It took me longer to
convert the programs than rewrite them.

When I did one of the conversions, I made the RPG36 source so it would
compile as RPG source.  I then ran it through the CVTRPGSRC and brought it
to RPGIV source.  I then tried to make it work.  The client insisted that I
convert the program and do not do a rewrite.  The program was a simple
report program and would not have taken long to rewrite.
