The easiest way of doing file transfer is by FTP. You can automate the
process by creating a source file with User name, password and the
operational commands etc. and over riding it to the default INPUT file the
system uses for description. Create another file source for FTP log which
should be over ridden to the file OUTPUT which the system uses. You can also
find examples in the IBM Online library on the net.

If you need to  change data while transferring or have conditional transfers
then you may have to write your own programs for file transfer using socket
API's.  You may find examples of this also in the IBM Online Library.
