2010/1/15 Joe Pluta <joepluta@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:
Late to the game, but I love, love, love OpenOffice.

I don't use MS Office for anything anymore. The biggest downside is the
lack of a true outliner, but searching for that led me to Milenix
Myinfo, which is a totally cool personal information organizer. It's
not free, but for $50 it's pretty darned impressive.

On the other hand, I do miss Microsoft Publisher. For things like
newsletters, nothing beats Publisher. I'm not even sure there is a real
open source equivalent.

Hi Joe

For DTP have a look at Scribus - http://www.scribus.net/

Regards, Martin

Thanks, Martin. I remember now running across the name but never having a chance to look into it because it didn't import Publisher documents. Too bad, really, but that's not important moving forward.
