I don't know.  I was happy as pie to hear they were going to try this.

I vaguely remember 1-2 weeks ago the FCC? made a ruling on how electric
companies would be responsible to fix inteference problems with TV's, etc.

Where I live, we have an electrical co-op.  You're not a customer, you're a
member.

They have tried hi speed wireless before, but it didn't fly for some
reason.

They certainly try more than the electric company I had in New Jersey.  I
found out about beta testing the internet over electric lines from a
newspaper once a month to let me know what's going on.

Is there any momentum on this technology?  I remember hearing about this
quite awhile ago, and it seemed to me that any electric company in their
right minds would be pursuing this.  I mean, cr*p, everyone who has a roof
over their heads in this country has the "cabling" already done.

Or is there more to it than that?
