Some only remotely related anecdote about DDM: I found out that PDM/SEU refuses to work with DDM files pointing to a SRC-PF. But the FTP-Server doesn't. With the fake URL-opening capability of vim, I can edit SRC members directly on my P03, thanks to DDM!
vim on Linux => FTP to V4R5 machine's DDM file => SNA/SDLC to 9401-P03's SRC-PF. Works like a charm. :-)
