That being said, there are firmware levels supported with that old release
of HMC which are still supported with the most recent release of HMC. So
you may be ok.
Just curious, what model and type of system (ie 9009-41A) do you have and
at what firmware level?

Better check firmware levels as well. As Rob already pointed out, there
may be dependencies there.

I'm looking at ESS, and I don't see a "hop" to v10.
of course, when I select my version 9.2, it only shows the service
packs for 9.2.
and when I select the 5765-VHX, that list the version 10 builds, I
don't see a path to "hop", only the .ova initial install.
