I tried that with my newsletters and at least 1/2 of my customers said it
came over odd. Have to depend on their client being able to render HTML at
all, or correctly (and that can be another can of worms)..

But if you sent both text and html in a multipart email that may be
better.. then again, if a client can't render HTML... what will it do with
a mutlipart email? haha

Please, I didn't see a content type header in the MIME he sent.. so now
you're really looking for trouble with formatting.

Plain text is the lowest common denominator. but it helps to use
text/plain header as well.
