Jim, I think what you may have to do is set up a holiday calendar - for example -
DLYNORUN. Add the dates needed not to run *none. When done, add the new holiday
calendar name to the JS job holiday parm. That should work in conjunction with your
daily backup schedule if it is *DAILY in Go JS.

*************

I just got done adding dates for several calendars for 2024.
Daily dates to run, dates if the 1st of the month is a Monday.
Dates where we need to start jobs the day after our corporate
holiday date schedule, fiscal quarter date calendar, specific
dates for times when employees are working but they are
considered shutdown days for things like inventory.

Yeah it's time consuming and complex but I inherited it.

subject: AJS : exclude date on scheduled job

Within AJS (V7R4) I cannot find a way to have job excluded on a specific date. Scheduling save activities, I want a restricted state save (BRMS) to run on the last Sunday of the month. No problem, I set up a calendar for that. Now I need to stop the daily save from running on those days.

Searching the internet and AJS both Green screen the New Navigator failed to show me how to do this. Thoughts?
