Ya, and end up with a product like Quickbooks Online.. lol *shudder*.

If you've used Desktop vs Online, you know what I mean. That's the
difference between programmers who know the product they are providing and
"coders" who think they know more than the previous programmers. They
can't even figure out basic things like subtotals on an invoice, allowing
you to update bill to and ship to at the invoice level, etc...

There's also the option of supporting ISVs who don't charge like it's
1995. Even the AS/400 rags back in the day charged outrageous fees for ads
because they assume all vendors charge 6 figures.

There's a place for everything.
