Hello Timothy,

I used to make Join logical files. How can I replicate that with an Index?
A logical file is AFAIK the OS representation of an index (aka: access path, aka sort order) for a PF. With this in hindsight, I struggle to make sense from your question.
Before engaging in guesswork, please describe what is your goal. You have join logical file(s) and want to replace that with what? SQL statements? If yes, see the documentation about the LEFT JOIN clause. SQL JOINs are a "runtime thing", while the necessary indexes (common fields) to speed up those joins have to be applied to the tables themselves. AFAIK.
