First, I have setup roughly 10 of these PCs and only 2 are having the
issue. These PC's are on windows 11 Pro(fully up to date) and they each
have Office Home and Business 2021, HCL notes 12.0.1, Symantec Endpoint
Protection, Adobe reader, and Java 64bit(v8 u395) installed. They are all
the same Dell Optiplex AIO 7710 desktops.
The issue is whenever I open any portion of ACS on these 2 machines, the
ACS launcher(acslaunch_win-64.exe) opens a black window that remains open.
If you attempt to close the window, it closes all open ACS applications.
It does not keep the software from functioning so it's more of a nuisance
than a problem. But, it did not behave this way on Windows 10 and it is
only happening on 2 of the 10 new Win11 PCs. So should be resolvable. I
went as far formatting one of these PCs today and problem persisted after
the fresh windows 11 install. So I am a bit stumped.
Worst case, I can open another ticket with IBM but I thought I would ask
if anyone here has encountered this and found the fix. I have screenshots
I can provide but, I am not aware of the limitations of these email posts.
So I am not including them initially.
Thank you!
