Hello James,

If I follow Patrik's idea, and start a QShell session on that same box, CD to /foo, and do

find * -mtime -1

I get the expected result of

bar

But if I do the same thing on the box where I'll be wanting to look for recently created files, I get:

find * -mtime -1
/QOpenSys/usr/bin/-sh: /QOpenSys/usr/bin/find: 0403-027 The parameter list is too long.
$

regardless of whether I do it from QSH, or from CALL QP2TERM.

find is automatically recursive. Of you use *, the shell will expand this to a list of all objects which are apparently too many

Use "find ." instead of "find *".

:wq! PoC
