Hey, to hear James say anything close to this about made me choke on my
drink as he normally has an affinity for old versions of the OS, old
hardware, old church organs and is as proud of a Luddite as they come.
Apparently even he has his limits.

There is little doubt in my mind that if somebody *actually needed* to
serve web pages from a V2R3 box, or even a V2R2 box, a sufficiently
motivated group of programmers could come up with a way to do it.

Sure!

I would also say that they would have to reinvent several wheels in the
process. And I don't have a particularly high opinion of programmers who
reinvent wheels without a *really good* reason.

Well, from a hobbyist PoV, "because I can" usually is a sufficiently
compelling reason. ;-)
