Uh, what I'm observing is documented right in the CHANGELOG member:
- BETA3: Tired of only one entry in the debug file!! Changed
http_debug(*ON) so it deletes any existing debug file. changed debug_open() to append debug file so that file is only restarted when http_debug(*ON) is called with the same filename.

Be that as it may, I now have master CL set to check (and clear) the U1 flag, and save forensic information as needed, after each of the eight RPG program calls.
