Easy, just use the SQL XMLPARSE function, it will fail if the XML is invalid. It can easily be embedded into RPG.

Subject: Good way to identify malformed XML?

I have services that receive XML files (1-2K / day). I'm looking for a
quick and easy way to identify malformed XML. None of the XML supplies
schema info and they have a variety of data layouts. I'm just looking for
a way to identify the malformed XML files.

TIA
