Source members require all those plus signs at the end. For a one shot deal I didn't want to go through all the trouble of compiling a program and whatnot.
And if you're in the "if it isn't green, it isn't a screen" crowd, still using SEU, you won't have enough real estate.

Subject: Re: Running out of 5250 space for that command?

Or interpret the CL command from a source member:

www.brilligware.com/cp0050c.html

CL source member intepreter.

I use this every day. Originally published in the August 1988 issue of News
34/38 (the one with the AS/400 on the cover).

Have a really long command?
Already tried CALL QCMD?
Already hit F11 for the full screen on CALL QCMD?
And still out of space?
Or are you just tired of trying to paste that command without the line
truncations and whatnot?
Well, have I got a deal for you.
Use Run SQL Scripts.
Start your line with
CL:
And a space. Then paste to your hearts content.

Oops command failed? No problem, look at the messages at the bottom.
Want more detail? Just click on the Joblog icon at the icon menu at
the top and you'll have full access to the current joblog associated
with your Run SQL Scripts job.

Now if I could just get past
BRM1547 - Command not allowed in this setting.
My first thought was to look at the command properties but, since it
was a BRM message I suspect they did it otherwise. Kind of verified it with
Mode(s) in which valid . . . . . . . . : *PROD
*DEBUG
*SERVICE
Where allowed to run . . . . . . . . . : *IMOD *BMOD *IREXX
*BREXX *BPGM *IPGM
*EXEC *INTERACT *BATCH
Darn, I have a huge CHGLNKLBRM command I want to run.
