We use the system values to control inactive users. After 60 minutes of inactivity a session reverts to a signon screen. If the user signs on, they are back in their original session just where they left off. But if their session remains inactive for another 90 minutes with the signon screen showing, the session is cancelled by the system. All done with system values that I don't remember the names of right now (I'm still at home).

I don't think this is an ACS issue. We have a package called TIMEOUT which is by user profile. We automatically log people off when they are abusive. It is a relatively simple RPG program that sits in batch and logs people off if they have been inactive for a period of time.
