Our normal save of IFS on that lpar is one minute. I review DSPLOGBRM
after every full system save.
This time it was 9 hours and 53 minutes. Let's just say 10 hours. I'll
have to plan on that for our big production machine upgrade. It should be
roughly the same. And it used roughly 12 1.5TB vtl "tapes" on our EMC
DD2500 backing up to four drives at once. And the last group of four on
those 12 were pretty close to full also.
Got a nice graphic of this but that doesn't play well with list software.
