Gmail reported an SPF soft fail as well when I got it. I am curious if it
would make it to my outlook.com or bvstools.office365.com (same account
name, bvstone) accounts as when I did testing sending email like you claim
to, my gmail accounts (and even my old yahoo account) received them but
they errored out sending to my MS accounts and were not sent as they have
much tighter rules in place.

Regarding the SPF soft fail, Google probably checked to see if our domain
has port 25 open for reply, which it doesn't. I don't want people sending
email to our development box.

I did send email to your other accounts, to test.

Also doing an MX lookup for the domain showed nothing except maybe Godaddy
is your email service provider.?

No, Godaddy is just our domain name registrar - they host our MX records
which point to our public-facing router.

i tried sending an email from my IBM i to your address from your IBM i so I
could get a nice trace and of course it errored out as well since it was
assuming it was attempting to relay. But the MX lookup there found a
couple:

smtp.secureserver.net
mailstore1.secureserver.net

Not sure how it got those, but they didn't accept anything. I assume there

must be a way for you to receive email at your radile.com address.

No, sending to port 25 is blocked by our firewall. I don't want to receive
email on our development box. IBM i of course can be configured to receive
email. We're only using it for outgoing mail (notices. alerts, and the
like).
