Again, this is incorrect. I don't think you quite understand yet the
purpose of a mail relay/router that most shops DO use and how to set that
up with your IBM i to send emails.
In regard to your assertion that most email generated on IBM i does get
forwarded to a relay service (you've listed a number of 3rd party relay
services), how are you so sure about that?
What I do understand is, that is what you offer and promote. What aboutIf you've ever worked in a shop they normally have one in-house email
those of us who just want to send email directly from our IBM i
applications? People should know that's built-in to the platform - no
internal, nor 3rd party relay is required.
