Paul,

I didn't say it was in that folder. I said you could make things a lot
more simple by moving it there and you really wouldn't need the aliasmatch
directives..

Also, I asked for authorities for:

/www/LSGUI80/htdocs (directory)

and

/www/LSGUI80/htdocs/ICOMSXS.html (file)

You gave me authorities for only /www/lsgui80 and maybe the file. It's
hard to tell. It looks like it's a quote from an earlier post..

What are the authorities for:

/www/LSGUI80/htdocs (directory)

and

/www/LSGUI80/htdocs/ICOMSXS.html (file)

This is what you will get when not specifying the legalsuite path and
just the host name.

What are the authorities for each directory?

Maybe post both the old and new configs along with authorities to
the directories and files.

Do both instances listen on the same port?

If I shutdown the new instance, bring up the old.
http://guitestold now works.

What do you mean by complete URL and DNS URL? Examples would
help clear
that up. Are you saying IP vs host name?

I'd check the authorities of the directories your files are in.
Make
sure QTMHHTTP id has at least *RX authority to the directories and
at least *R to the files. QTMHHTP1 should have authorities for
anything
CGI related.
I normally just make sure both have *RX to all dirs and *R to
all
files.
