The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
DSPUSRPRF USRPRF(<user profile>) TYPE(*OBJPGP) should do the trick.
Cheers,
Carsten

Subject: Removing primary group
I want to assign a group profile to an existing user profile that is not in any group but does have a GID number specified on the user profile.
The catch-22 is that I can't add a group profile while the profile has a GID but I can't remove the GID because of CPF22DB -
Message . . . . : The user profile being changed must have a GID.
Cause . . . . . : When a user profile is either a group profile or the primary group of at least one object, the profile must have a GID.
Since the user profile is not a group profile then it must be the primary group of another object.
Any idea how to find out what that object that is?
