I have submitted a Request For Enhancement (RFE) and would like to request
anyone who can see the benefit of this request to vote for it ... please.

The request it to enable a job description to be specified either on the
device description for Writers (LAN, Remote, IPDS AFP) or on the start
command. This is to enable the library list to be controlled for specific
writers.
We have multiple environments, development, test/QA and production and
multiple versions within that structure. We have objects related to the
writer job and mapping programs in a similar library structure.
With the ability to specify a job description to a writer a specific
writer can be linked to specific environment.
