a little money and get

There are those who will argue that if you have access to all source and
modify every program that creates journal entries there are ways to
customize everything to get better performance.
Most of us are not inclined to screw up our vendor packages to make it
harder to put upgrades on. It's not like this is near as expensive as DB2
Multisystem.
This was a MUCH better bang for the buck than our SSD upgrades were.
