I'm in Spring house cleaning mode.
Just deleted 100+ libraries of old apps no longer used.
Did the same for jobds, outqs, jobqs, etc.
Space isn't the issue.
Seeing a cleaner screen when you call the below cmds.
WRKJOBQ
WRKOUTQ
WRKJOBD
Etc.
My manager asked many moons ago if I could delete/remove some of these Q objects.
I feel the same as you guys do, but thought I'd ask anyway.
Paul

Why are you wanting to delete these objects? As Rob says they are probably very small and I wouldn't want to have to answer to a higher up if I deleted a Q* object that was needed some time down the road.

The e-mail below is from an external source. Please do not open attachments or click links from an unknown or suspicious origin.
IBM creates many Q objects that are never used.
Jobqs, Jobds, Outqs, Userprofiles, etc.
Is it safe to delete these?
Based on the name, some are from S/36 days.
QS36...
Will an i5/OS upgrade restore them?
Any thoughts from the group?
Thank You
