Well, I really thought "how do I get RUNRMTCMD working from my IBM i" was
kind of related to midrange-l.

What we're going to end up doing is this:
IBM i ->> another PC ->> DNS Server
The reason being is that straight from IBM i to the DNS Server cannot seem
to get the right authorities on GDSDNS without opening it up so much that
it makes the PC Tech shudder. (We've been purchased and the new
auditors...) And trying to run psexec on the same system errors out with
an error that I failed to record.

RUNRMTCMD CMD('C:\PSTools\psexec \\gdsdns -u dekko-1\rob -p psswrd -h
c:\Windows\System32\DNSCMD.EXE ""GDSDNS /recordadd dekko-1 SMTP2 600 A
208.87.182.6> \te
mp\output.txt""') RMTLOCNAME(GDL164 *IP) RMTUSER(ROB) RMTPWD(psswrd)

We've also been told that dnscmd is being deprecated and we should adapt
to PowerShell scripting. What we have will work for now and there is a
time crunch. And since we've just upgraded our DNS servers I don't see
them being replaced soon and losing dnscmd.

Since there doesn't seem to be any current Windows provided remote command
execution daemon I see no need to go shopping around for some third party.
I'll just load the deprecated 7.1 client on the intermediate PC.
